WPF Therapy provides therapeutic services to individuals and training for professional therapists. A charitable foundation, WPF Therapy trains over 1000 professionals every year and delivers clinical psychotherapy to over 400 individuals every week to help them deal with issues in their lives. Based in central London the organisation offers ‘care at the nation’s heart’.
WPF’s work is sensitive and empathetic, so all communications, both online and in print had to reflect these essential qualities. Working initially with the former CEO (Jo Searle) to agree direction, and subsequently with members of the management team to iron out the detail, we were able to help the organisation transform the look and feel of their communications. In turn, the literature and website allow therapists and patients to learn more about how WPF operates and appreciate the depth and breadth of its clinical and educational services.
We rewrote copy to clarify the often complex and sensitive nature of the differing kinds of therapeutic theory and practice. Beginning with a suite of literature that gives an overview of the organisation and the full extent of its services the project grew to encompass a new tone of voice and presentation that better reflected how WPF operates today.
We proposed a fresh new typographic style and colour palette, and have started to implement these throughout communications. Carefully shot photography to help project the personal aspect of the services.
Ultimately the work led to the development of a new website including a new site structure, re-configured content and refreshed design and imagery.
